Earrings

Earrings are the most functional pieces of jewellery we wear. They make lazy weekend mornings feel put together. Runny mascara doesn’t look so bad when you factor in dangly stones or a cool cuff. There’s something about having the right pair at eye level that flips a switch, and yet we’ve all heard some version of “I only have stupid earrings” from far too many women. If you know those women, they’re likely rifling through unmatched sets, old gifts they’ll never wear, and maybe…two pairs that actually get regular rotation. The mismatch between things we own and things we wear regularly is why this collection was started. We’ve been thoughtful about these selections in ways that a typical jewellery department cannot. These aren’t earrings just thrown on a product grid because they coordinate with existing inventory. We picked every pair for how it would look worn every day. Things like the small gold hoops that go with literally anything. The understated drop that feels extra put together for a Monday morning meeting. The statement pair you throw on when you don’t care about coordinating because these earrings say it all. You’ll find all of these styles here, curated and pared down to eliminate filler pieces. Likewise, we wanted to steer clear of the pile-up mentality that comes with collecting jewellery. We don’t want to sell you earrings that need a fancy night out to feel appropriate, or baby-tear sensitive garnets that spend weeks between wears tucked inside their box. These pieces should be worn. Worn weekly, worn to work, worn to brunch with friends. Worn to weddings where you want to feel like yourself but don’t want to overthink. Worn when your entire outfit is basic but you’ve got these on. Comfort was another concern when we pulled together this group. Functional post backs. Weights that aren’t so heavy they pull your earrings down by lunch. Sizes that aren’t so small you can’t see them, or so large they look like costume jewellery. A great pair of earrings should do more than just look pretty. They should be comfortable enough that you forget they’re there, but make a statement that everyone else notices. Our very favourite earrings here are surprisingly inexpensive. Others are worth the investment because they’re well-made enough to replace seven mediocre pairs.
