Jumpers
Sometimes getting dressed is about not having to think. Grabbing the jumper, putting it on, and knowing that your day is made that little bit better. That’s not being lazy.
That’s smart taste streamlined. The issue is that most jumper wardrobes end up vast and little bit useless. Too many that start pilling after three washes.
Too many that look good on social but feel itchy against your real skin. Too many oversizes that don’t actually look like they’ve been carefully cut to look oversized, or fitted jumpers that hang strangely on the shoulders. We’ve built up years of quietly disappointed jumpers that seem to promise more than they can deliver, and we’ve become hard to please as a result.
We’ve put this edit together because we know that a really great jumper is one of the most valuable things you can own. We mean that in a functional way. The kind of garment you reach for every day, that you struggle to imagine not having in your wardrobe.
The jumper that helps you through those longest months of inconsistent weather where it’s too warm for a coat but too cool for a tee. The one you throw with some smart trousers on the days you want to look put together but hate having to think about clothes. That fits perfectly under a jacket or atop a shirt without bunching up.
The one you grab first when you’re packing. Here you’ll find every kind of jumper in different materials and cuts. Lightweight knits that layer without adding bulk.
Bulkier knitwear with the grams to keep you warm on deserving of its size. Option for crew neck, V neck and because we know not everyone loves round necks; some splendid square necks too. Beautiful fibres like merino, cotton and cashmere blends that are worth spending a little extra on.
We’ve even put some thought into colour because let’s face it; a jumper in the wrong colour is one you won’t wear, no matter how amazing it is in every other sense. There are no filler options here. Each jumper in this edit has been carefully selected because it helps you wear better and tackles a dressing issue rather than just exists in a niche.
That’s the standard we judge everything by. It’s also why this edit is smaller than most.
