CARE INSTRUCTIONS: It is important that you take good care of your knitted item so it takes good care back of you – machine wash inside out at 40 degrees, dry cleaning or hand wash – do not tumble dry – do not bleach – do not hang When washing by hand we recommend: a) use cold water & mild liquid detergent for fine fibers; b) soak the garment for 3-5 min, gently squeezing the suds through it; don’t twist, wring, scrub, or otherwise agitate it, as this will cause felting; c) rinse it twice in clean, cold water & gently squeeze out the excess; d) lay the garment between towels, roll up the towels & set it aside for a few minutes; e) place it on a dry towel or a sweater rack & reshape (do not hang); let it dry away from direct heat & light. – You can use steaming to smooth it out or to refresh.
