OUR SARONGS ARE THE BEST QUALITY ! They are super soft & durable & will last for years. The thread count is high, colors are vibrant, & they have the look & feel of a luxurious, well-made sarong. Each piece is meticulously hand-printed in the traditional batik method. They have sewn edges for long lasting wear without fraying & no fringe. Measures approx. 74 x 45 Fabric: Finest quality high thread count rayon We take great pride in the fact that our sarongs are INDIVIDUALLY BATIKED BY HAND in the traditional way. Batik is a traditional Asian art that uses wax as a resist as it is placed on fabric & then dying the material. The waxing & dyeing can be repeated as many times as necessary to achieve multiple colors & more varied designs. The final process is removing the wax from the material. The end result is a colorful & unique creation. Hand washing the first time is good. It helps remove any leftover flecks of wax from the batiking process. Then go ahead the next time & MACHINE WASH, GENTLE CYCLE with a low temp dry. Ironing is not recommended. FAST shipping is important to us!
