A silver-coloured evening bag, which from the style & shape, most likely dates to the 1920s-40s, although there are no date marks to confirm this. Although the bag is made of metal, the linked effect makes the shape quite fluid & not rigid. There is a tag with Warrented white metal & this covers a little hole (see final two photos) This little purse has a clasp fastening, which works well & inside there was a small locket with ‘I love You’. This could have been a later addition, but whoever owned this bag, whether the original or a later owner, was loved by someone:). This is included in the sale The purse is large enough for a lipstick, tissue, money & card, but probably not all.
